Deborah Thorpe

When this prayer appeared in Theology Matters in 2001, Deborah Thorpe and her husband, Lyle, had adapted it from Scripture and Ruth Myers’ book 31 Days of Praise, and they prayed it often during her extended terminal illness. Deborah passed away on December 27, 1999 from a rare neurologic disease, striato-nigral degeneration (SND).
